Captain Ma Noodles (Chinese Beef Noodles) is taking over the spot that was Way 2 Roll on Brenton St.


A franchise of Vintner's Cellar has opened on Cole Harbour Rd (across from Lawton's). Meanwhile, Noble Grape (who started in Cole Harbour) is celebrating their 25th year!

Ice Patch Hollow indoor playground is now open in the Shopper's end of Sunnyside Mall

Kamps's Ice Cream Truck (soft serve) has set up on the main drag in Fall River at the Lawn Guy.
The Booster Juice in Dartmouth Crossing among the clothing stores, is now open

Atomic Cafe is now open inside of Pro Skates on Quinpool Rd.

The NSLC Express on Ruth Goldbloom at Dunbrack is now open

I missed when it opened late last year but Auto Boutique (car accessories) had their grand opening last week on Bedford Highway in the converted motel.

And further to me missing things last year Everwood Ave Brew Shop opened a retail shop on Old Sackville Rd by Wheaton's (in the old Wheelies). They have everything you could possibly need for being the most badass brewer on the block. They also sell everything you need for disc golf.



Goodies will be closing their Burnside thrift store and 2 Bedford area bookstores (TBD)




Halifax ReTales Closed

Sams Seafood in Dartmouth Crossing has closed. original Main St location is still open.


36 Ultramars in Atlantic Canada are switching to Irving/Circle K, quite a few began the switchover this week.



Hong Yun which was on Brenton Place is physically gone (the entire building) though I hear they will be returning in the new building on the corner of Hollis and South



Taz (Bedford) has completed their move across the street and a block away to the plaza that was home to Video Difference for years

The replacement Princess Auto in Burnside has signs up now on corner of Wright and Burnside Dr saying Early 2019, when I originally reported last summer I had heard Nov 2018



OK, I got one sort of wrong, Fit 4 Less is not coming to Woodlawn but ...World Gym is a similar low-cost pricing structure to F4L


Kent at Mic Mac closes today, and the new store in Dartmouth Crossing opens tomorrow (the Mic Mac location will become offices for Irving)

Vinyl dance club is “closed for the summer”



There will be a public broadcast next Sunday of the World Cup final on Argyle St. It is being put on by our forthcoming professional soccer team the Halifax Wanderers
