Well, when I ended my last update and said I wasn’t 100% sure what my scheduling would look like, boy I had no idea.
At the end of the year I was waiting on something and then last week was interrupted by a 6 day trip to the Dartmouth General
I am doing absolutely fine but adjusting to a diabetic life.
So tonight I am going to wrap up things from 2022
Tomorrow afternoon I’ll do my 2022 Recap
and Tuesday will be the first update of 2023

 The Esquire Plaza on Bedford highway welcomed the opening of The Kon Dog (Korean rice hot dogs and more)
Beanville Coffee Roastery also opened there

Flynn’s Dairy Bar‘s newest location is now open on Herring Cove Road in the base of the new building just behind Canadian Tire

The new Sushi Jet AYCE is open on Portland at Penhorn

Novalea Kitchen And Market open at 3540 Novalea Dr “What we offer: * Moroccan market, spices and Moroccan cuisine staples * Snack bar band meals to go * Commercial kitchen rental”

FUM3E is now open “· Luxury fashion living space” at  1464 Brenton St

Ben Gong’s Tea a bubble tea shop is now open at 6440 Quinpool (formerly Lucky Penny)

Pizza Pizza opened at 799 Sackville Drive.

 

Coming

Mountain Warehouse who already has a Halifax location will open a second local location in the shops at Dartmouth Crossing

Omelet Brunch & Munch is opening Quinpool (near Oxford) seems to be an extension of Naan-n-Curry

Leaving

After 25 years, the Steak & Stein will close their Halifax location in late April, and go back to just being one Dartmouth location.

The Pizza Girls on Bedford Highway at Hammonds Plains has closed

Ana + Zac closed their Agricola retail store on the 30th. Moving to Lunenburg continuing online

Dobbit Bakehouse in Musquodoboit Harbour is retired and closed at year end.
