First Sight Coffee & Bar is opening in Park Lane with a Spring Garden Road storefront

902 Kitchen (Dresden Row) has opened a second location on Bedford Highway beside Martha’s II. I have been told that they have the best-fried chicken in town, but haven’t tried myself.

I am not exactly sure where, but 14 year old me thinks it is totally rad that Swatch is opening a store here. There are some clues that say Agricolas street, but unconfirmed.


I have been asked a lot about the fencing in the parking lot of the Bayer’s Lake Walmart, well they are building a new branch of TD Canada Trust.

Medium Rare Butcher & Restaurant has soft opened at 99 Cobequid Rd

Bar Sabbia opened on the Halifax Waterfront by the drunken lamp posts, the outdoor lounge will feature oysters and cocktails served from a converted Italian Piaggio Ape Scooter, also nearby from the Bertossi Group as well will be a Pane e Circo gelato bike.

They decided not to renew their lease and are moving on.

The great pizza swap continues,
Coins replaced Sicilian in Fairview
Pizza Pizza replaced Coins in Woodside
Alexandra’s in Fairview and Lakeside became Bella Vita Pizza
Now Coins (closed) in Fairview and is being replaced by an Alexandra’s just a half a block away from the one that just changed names.

Things I missed

I don’t actually go to the malls often, but was in HSC the other day and kids clothing store Be Chic (sister store to Baby Chic in Bedford) and Chatime were new to me.
