Pictou County legend Sam’s Pizza and their famous brown sauce are opening a location on Bloom Lane in West Bedford
The Seaport Market was moved from 1209 Marginal Rd so the Port of Halifax could have a ‘living lab’. But now part of that building will be Cafe Chianti and their and a sister place called Halifax Pier Pub. The Seaport Market will soon be at the other end of those buildings in the former Cunard Centre.
On the roundabout at Broad Street and Larry Uteck Boulevard in west Bedford Jack’s Car Spa, an Irving/Circle K and a new location of Chicken Little (with ice cream stand) are being built. The car spa appears to have self-serve stalls and a double automated car wash.
I previously said that Johnny Ks at Pizza Corner was maybe being replaced by poutine and I was right (sort of) it looks like it’s going to be poutine-Indian Fusion called Potikki’s

Level 8 Night Club opened a few weeks ago on the top floor of 1800 Argyle (former World Trade Centre behind Scotiabank Centre.
Danier Leather has returned they have a new store in Halifax Shopping Centre. It is open on the top floor.
Leaving
Before the “renaissance” of Agricola Street there was the stalwart Yasmine Grocery, but that too shall pass at the end of July as the building is getting renovated

Part of what used to be Home Outfitters in Dartmouth Crossing is going to be extended Warehouse space for Best Buy
New Scotland Clothing, New Scotland Brewing, Timber Lounge Axe Throwing and Root Down Scullery (kitchen) are all now open under one roof at Portland Yard at 16 Portland St
The May Garden at 1475 Bedford Highway is closed, the newer Bedford location at Mill Cove is still open, and speaking of May Garden they now have robot waiters at their Casino location.
