Growlies – for Pets has opened in Upper Tantallon between TD and Pharmasave

The Dollarama in Timberlea is now open beside Sobeys.

Dhaba Express has opened location two at 811 Bedford Highways in the converted Travellers Motel


GameStop (previously EB Games) has closed their Lower Sackville store at Downsview. Also at Downsview, The Source has closed. GameStop is now down to three HRM locations, while The Source is down to four.

Fox Hill Cheese has closed their location on Robie ahead of the building coming down. Their neighbours after 50+ years on that cornerĀ  Mister Transmission has also relocated to St. Margarets Bay Rd. in Beechville


Wheaton’s in Bayers Lake is closing that location at the end of their lease, next month. No mention of a replacement store at this time.


The back of Ratinaud on Gottingen is an eatery again with a small and changing menu.
