International chain Tsujiri Matcha Cafe is making it’s way to Halifax, the cafe will have everything matcha; ice cream, cake, cold drinks, or just a straight up matcha tea. It’s the first announced retail tenant for The Pavilion on the corner of Sackville and South Park

The Dome will be adding a new yet familiar element to the Grafton Street side of the complex. The name Cheers is coming back but this time Cheers Live will be country bar located above The Roxbury. The dome in past also once had a country bar called the Neon Armadillo.

Kebab Kitchen is making a return after closing their spot in Scotia Square last year. They now look ready to open a full restaurant in Burnside on Windmill Road, beside Cheese Curds. The space was most recently Enterprise who moved to the stand alone building in the same parking lot.

What is becoming an August tradition a new restaurant has opened at 95 Caledonia Road, i-Pizza has opened. Shirley and Novelee’s opened last August and closed a few months ago, the year before Chico’s Island had opened in the same spot the August before. The location had been a few pizza spots before that for decades.

Rinaldo’s has opened their takeout and delivery sister location in Fairview this week. The new Dutch Village Road dubber Rinaldo’s New York Pizza has a menu which focuses on pizza, heroes and sides.
