Happy Canada Day!!

Cogmagun / Mill Acre Farm is opening a Free Range food shop in the commercial building where Larry Uteck meets Kearney Lake

Oco Mart (Korean grocery and food) is opening on Quinpool in the space that most recently housed Six303

Rowshan Seafood is now open at 622 Sackville Dr and it does not appear to be a fish And chips shack

The Greco is now open on Caldwell Rd at the Millbrook gaming centre

Sea Smoke is now open where Hamachi Steakhouse was in Bishops Landing. Sushi, Oyster Bar and other seafood items.

Kelly's Deli has reopened on Farnham Gate @ Dunbrack 25 Years after closing in the same exact spot, a 12" Cold Cut is currently only $2.99
(This is a completely different thing than Kel's that used to be on Wyse)

Bombay in Dartmouth Crossing has signs up that they are having an end of lease store closing sale.

Rockport who as a brand has filed for bankruptcy is closing their store in Halifax Shopping Centre ?

The Burnside Burger King is closing in September, no planned replacement

Halifax ReTales Closed

This is too bad, but the Bedford location of The Board Room Game Cafe has closed. The original Barrington St location is still on the go though!

Antigonish based Peace by Chocolate has from its onset has been a story of inclusion. That inclusion is now in the form of Pride-themed chocolate bars, and $1 from each of these bars goes to Halifax based Phoenix Youth Programs.  And this week I am honoured to have them as a sponsor.

Longtime Cole Harbour pizza shop Anapolie is on the move, just a short move though. They will be right next door into the old corner store, they are adding a 2nd stone oven and some tables.

FYI Rousseau Chocolatier is in the artisanal soft-serve game now (South @ Hollis) they also have chocolate dip for the ice cream/sorbet

Kit Singh the owner of Smiling Goat, is suing former employees and the union for over $500k CBC

This is frustrating, they renovate Argyle St. The Nova Centre gets built and there is great commercial space put on the Argyle side, and now the Argyle St level corner across from The Carleton/Lot Six is going to be a district office for Atlantic Lottery.

Hey, like this? Why not share it with a buddy?
