Rowshan Seafood Restaurant is opening in the strip mall in Sackville (the one beside the library (622), and I hope Seafood Restuarant means more than deep-fried things)
The cafe in Pro Skates on Quinpool is coming back to life as Atomic Cafe. They will be serving Java Blend and Anchored Coffee and have treats from Tart & Soul.

Atlantic Fabrics on Parkland location is closing, no new location but plans for a future store. The building has a new owner and Maritime Dance Academy will be taking the space
Third Earth Collectibles and Octopi Computers are both closing; they will leave their shared Cornwallis St space next month.
Jasmine Chinese in Sackville has closed
May Garden has completed its Sackville move, the original location has been bulldozed and they are now open on Sackville Dr. in the former Robins Donuts.
It is getting to summer so more and more seasonal items are opening. Lemon Dogs opened their Shubie Park taco stand this week (most authentic tacos in town). The Stillwell Beergarden, and Dairy Bar are open on Spring Garden. Pumpkin Village will open at the beginning of the month for their 25th season in Fisherman’s Village, and be joined by TWM Woodworking and Kismet Design. Meanwhile, antique stores are popping open this weekend like ABC, Homestead and Blue Goose on the Peggy’s Cove loop.

National chain Tommy Gun’s Barber Shop came heavy at independent one chair North End Dartmouth barber shop Tommy’s (who was in operation years before Tommy Gun’s existed) with a cease and desist letter and threating legal action. HRM did not take kindly to that and after a social media backlash Tommy Gun’s has backed off and apologized.
It’s “buyer beware” not “buyer be aware” as you put.
