In the Larry Uteck area, Blue Elephant Thai is open, and Nayya Pizza has completed their move from the Bedford Highway

A few months ago when I mentioned Kent was building a new store in Dartmouth Crossing (spring 2018), I mentioned a new hotel was going in. This week I found out that hotel will be a Sandman Hotel and most Sandman Hotels have a Denny’s. So come ~2019 there will most likely be a Denny’s in Burnside at the edge of Dartmouth Crossing.

Hoghorn BBQ has closed up for the Winter but is looking for new a more central location to reopen in the spring.

Sad, West End bike shop Bikes by Dave has closed their Young St shop. I hear they may be back at a new location but for now, closed.

There were a few inquiries this week so  I will follow up on a previous tidbit from August. The construction on Wright at Burnside Dr will be a new home for Princess Auto around this time next year. They are will also be a second building that they want food tenants in.

I hear UK Women retailer Oasis is still coming to Halifax with their first North American store but not at the Halifax Shopping Centre instead now they will be part of the new development at Spring Garden and Queen

I’m collectively disappointed in IKEA, HRM and Halifax Transit
