•Pumpkin Village is opening in Dartmouth Crossing by Shamus Davids and on Spring Garden in the old Mills Building at the end of October
•In the meantime, Home Comforts has opened their seasonal popups in Halifax Shopping Centre and Mic Mac Mall
•Go! Toys and Games has also opened in Halifax Shopping Centre
•Christmas Discounters is now open at Woodlawn Mall

Sears announced the closure of 11 more stores including St. John’s. Halifax is not on the list, but I suppose that just helps with the rumour Simons has already acquired the lease.
Flair Airlines (who bought discount airline New Leaf in June) is discontinuing service to Halifax next week. New discount airline Jetlines is expected to offer Halifax to Hamilton (and then connections) starting in June and Halifax to Orlando seasonally.
