The Argyle Bar and Grill bar is closing next month. There is blame being cast at the construction woes however the current owners took over just last year and are replacing it with Alberta chain The Pint. Unsure what this means for the downstairs Vinyl Dance Bar.

The Cole Harbour location is delayed until October, but a Mezza will open in the Dalhousie Student Union Building in a couple of weeks.

Tucker Lake Pizza is now open in Beaver Bank, and soon a convenience store as well, where Joey’s was.

Nova Tactical opened their Windmill Rd gun range, it’s for members first but in a few weeks you will able to go in and have a shooting session.

Well I commented there were no closures, well they were waiting for this week I guess.

Previously mentioned, The Company House was scheduled to close on Sept 5th, but they closed this week. A band scheduled to perform showed up and a for lease sign in the window and the doors locked.

Mongolie Grill on Granville at Sackville is closing on September 12th.

KEW Furniture has closed their DT Dartmouth location and merged in with their new spot on Gottingen

Mom’s Country Market/Kwik Way on Cole Harbour Rd. has closed their doors

The original Battered Fish has closed their original Bedford Hwy trailer; The last Battered Fish is in Halifax Shopping Centre. They also have the Waterfront shack and Tantallon location operating under their new name Katch.

•The Montreal style Portuguese chicken joint opening in place of the North St. Robins Donuts  is CHKN Chop
•The new Taco and Tequilla bar going in the former Argyle St home of Foggy Goggle (now on Gottingen) will be called Antojo
