I live within viewing distance of the proposed “new Costco” on Margeson Drive. How many wells will it need to function? What about sewage? The very idea of adding a retail property to the subdivision with only one way out (Margeson) is fool hardy. Reference the evacuation during the 2023 wild fire.
the plan is to have Halifax Water extend its services from where they current ly end nearby at Sunset Ridge
as for the one way , I am not sure what you mean as there are a series of service roasds in that area that could be used in an emergency
We were staying in Indigo Shores during the 2023 wild fire evacuation. The neighbourhoods have grown since then. If the service roads were in fact serviceable and not chunky with ruts, they might be an option. Just my opinion. If a traffic study was done, it would surely bear it out. Coming out of Midnight Run to turn is rather blind. We are in the entire subdivision frequently.
