It’s a small update this week, so I will discard the regular formatting and just get into it.
The Subway at the new Dartmouth 4 Pad hockey arena on Commodore Dr. in Burnside is open.
The new Woodside McDonald’s has opened

Dollarama has Easter Candy out …
and this week I had my 2nd Annual Halifax ReTales solo Holiday Party.
I took the bus headed Downtown Halifax where I went from Weird Harbour for a warm eggnog, then The Old Apothecary for a housemade peppermint patty. I then headed back up the street for an Imperial Stout at Stillwell, and popped across the street to Highwayman for cured smelts. I then headed back south on Barrington and grabbed a Big Spruce Cereal Killer at 2 Doors Down Bites on my way to Qiu Brothers for some pork and shrimp dumplings. Little Oak was my next stop where I had a cocktail and trout tartare then off to the ferry. Kings Wharf was next up with dessert at Il Trullo and then a gingery cocktail at The Watch That Ends The Night. Picnic at Dart was next up for a Smokey The Beer, and then another beer a North Brewing, Malternate Reality at Battery Park. Finally, I grabbed a slice at Revana and a draught at my favourite watering hole Staggers
and with that happy holidays to all of you!
The new McD’s in Woodside is a dump. There’s almost no place to sit and many of the seats that are available are in the area where everyone waits for their order. The renovation can’t possibly be finished… it’s just way too bad for a new restaurant.
Avoid going inside at all costs.
Is it wrong that I now want to go to see the horror?
