I work in primary food production here in Nova Scotia and have a consistence in Halifax. I think is it very possible we are entering into a golden age of food options in greater Halifax. The amount of smaller new grocery stores over the past 1.5 years has been astounding, we are getting to the point where our overall selection of food and ingredients in Halifax is moving right up to Tornonto levels (just not as many stores).
The restaurant game has leveled up as well, Bedford area has seen so many new Indian restaurants latlet it has really transformed the Indian restaurant scene here in the city. I was into Kabab Land last week and was very impressed.
Pound for pound Halifax is emerging as a top spot for food across Canada
