Bombay Spices (South Asian Grocery), who opened a shop last year at Rockingham Ridge, is opening a second location on Portland St in the plaza beside Pizza Hut.

The former Don 88 on South St (at Henry) is going to be an Asian grocer again called Pine House (yes, it is related to the takeout in Spring Garden Place)

On Henry Street just of South a new spot is opening called Tasty Kitchen 

The Mellow Mug coming to Larry Uteck area next month replacing the former Second Cup

Atithi Indian Restaurant is opening in place of the now-closed Tasty Fried Chicken at 1312 Bedford Hwy.

Construction on Starbucks inside of the Portland Street Superstore has begun.
