La Piazza the new wood fired pizza restaurant on Chebucto Rd. where it meets North is now open. LOts of positive feedback
The new floor plan for Halifax Shopping Centre, 2 large 2 Level stores on 2nd Level and new food court, where the bowling alley used to be.
La Piazza’s pizza oven isn’t actually wood fired. It runs on propane, and they put a single log over at the side presumably for the smell or smoke etc.
Are the 2 new large 2 level stores H&M and Forever 21????
And also are they adding a third floor on top??
Because they’re adding a big new piece on the back of the mall, West End Mall/Mumford Professional Centre and the Bay West Centre are renovating to!!
Yeah what used to be the office space above the mall at that end is being converted so yes it’s sort of a 3rd floor. I hear it will be H&M and Zara
H&M is taking over the food court Is the food court part of tower one ??
It’s now confirmed that Zara will be one of the tenants! And since they announced that they were getting a major expansion they said H&M will either take the former food court or a space in the former office Tower 1!
Is Sport Chek getting a second floor?? Also they should add one on Gap.
H&M and Zara are both now confirmed for the 2 new 2 story spaces in the former Office Tower 1. Office Tower 2 is now known as Halifax Place. The new food court Terrace and new glass elevator & escalators have been open for nearly a year now already! All kinds other new tenants have also opened since the renovations began. The new office tower above the Bay West Centre (Ex-Hudson’s Bay) is now open. And the renovations are going really well and are getting close to completion!
