Also in Timberlea, United Dental Labs is building on the part of the property on the corner Timberlea Parkway and the Bay Rd. A Brewery is also rumoured for that parcel of land. Meanwhile a few metres away on the Parkway a residence is being built by Brunello Estates overlooking the 9th hole.
A sign is up in the Middle Sackville strip mall where Tims is, for a restaurant called Phu Quoc (Phú Qu?c is a Vietnamese island so we can assume Vietnamese food!)
There seems to be wrecking equipment showing up at Penhorn Sears, from Crombie developments site
“Penhorn Lands” is a 31-acre development site located at the intersection of Highway 111 and Portland Street in Halifax (Dartmouth), NS, that was purchased from Empire in 2016. The site is adjacent to Penhorn Plaza, a Crombie-owned, 103,000 square foot Sobeys-anchored retail plaza. Management expects to undertake the development in two phases. Phase I includes the development of new commercial space on approximately 4 acres of land fronting on Portland Street. This commercial development will better integrate the two Penhorn properties. Phase II is a residential development comprised of a mix of low, medium and high density units on the remaining 27 acres of land. Pre-planning for Phase I is underway and management expects to begin construction in 2018
