Pizza Girls has opened their new Pizza Corner shop.

Chain Yard Cider and their restaurant Unchained Kitchen are now open on the corner of Agricola and North

Six303 Eatery will be opening later this summer at, 6303 Quinpool where Thai Ivory said they were “renovating”. It will serve up the standard family fare, with Greek influences.

Rinaldo’s is now open on Windsor St.; the house made mozza sticks are going to be a Halifax legend I think.

A new board game spot is opening on Quinpool, next month. Roll The Dice, is moving in where Mezza was by Oxford St.

Big Ray’s Filipino grocery is open on Dutch Village Rd across from Velo’s pizza where Scientology most recently had their Halifax headquarters. Big Ray’s has been serving Dartmouth from their Main St location for years.

King Internet Cafe,  has opened their 24hr internet and gaming cafe and they have an automated mahjong table.

Sushi Tonari has opened in the Scotia Square food court, They ar ethe same folks that have the kiosk outside Pete’s in Sunnyside.

Another Chatime bubble tea is opening at the South End of Barrington and will share the space with Crepe Crepe Cafeteria. Meanwhile, the first Chatime on Brenton St is adding Way 2 Roll, which is a sushi and sushi burrito spot.


Also opening a little more south at the beginning of  Barrington, Wonderful BaoBao, who will be serving up steam buns (yum) and noodles.

A special events food truck for charity will be hitting events this summer called Let’s Eat Beer; it will have dishes that use some of our local breweries as ingredients.

The Foggy Goggle has opened their brand new home on Gottingen St. across from Falkland.

Tart & Soul Cafe, will be opening on the corner of Oxford and Coburg. They will be serving up lots of baked goods and Anchored Coffee.

Abode Boutique on Almon is closing their vintage homewares and furniture shop closes today.

Lemon Dogs has opened for the season at Shubie Park’s, Fairbanks Centre. This year they shift gears they still have their lemonade and frozen treats, but this year they become a Taqueria. Tacos in the park!

The oddball of Mic Mac is moving out. Scholar’s Choice is closing up this week and moving to Burnside on Brownlow Ave in the plaza where Goodies and GoodLife are.

Yes, the Cabela’s is till coming, in fact, the ground has been broken, and the 50k sq.ft store should be open by this time next year.
