The Clyde St NSLC closed yesterday for good; it was the last of the old-style stores in town. Customer can now be serviced by the NSLC Express which opened in the front of Park Lane, The Port a couple of blocks away and a new full sized store will be opening in the parking lot of the Queen St Sobeys in June
The shacks on the Halifax Waterfront have been moved further south by the Beer Garden and Waterfront Warehouse. All the vendors are returning, and a couple more will be added including Deep Sea Donuts, The Cake Lady, Chowder House by Murphy’s and the second location for Cows.

The Lunenburg Makery has moved to beautiful new larger space beside their original space on Lincoln St
Valley Drive-in opens this weekend. If you never have, it’s a great community run old-fashioned drive-in in Coldbrook complete with Lions Club using the profits in the community.
