The Orange Julius in Mic Mac Centre court has closed and integrated with the DQ upstairs.I know this is somehow tied to the disappearance of Woody !!

North End Halifax likes it’s booze, hearing that a small distillery is being built where Nauss Bikes was, they will start with gin and vodka.

The Yeh! inside the Dartmouth Crossing WalMart is gone. Also, in froyo news, CherryBerry on Quinpool is now “seasonal” and closed until March.

There was a social media buzz Saturday that IKEA is opening in Dartmouth Crossing but it’s all based on rumours there is no confirmation of any sort at this point. Like I said in my yearly review, though, I do expect we will have the announcement of a store in HRM sometime this year but will it be a small shipping store or a full remains the mystery.

misc

Walmart seems to be having some supply chain issues with empty produce becoming a common thing.

  1. I’m getting tired of the IKEA rumours. I lived in Ottawa, which has an IKEA, and visited the store twice. It’s cheap furniture- low price, low quality. I’d rather invest in furniture, say at Lake City Woodworkers, than buy junk.
