ReTales October 6: Q & La Perla closed, The Board Room & Fiddleheads open

The Board Room Cafe opened on the South End of Barrington went by Friday night $5 cover but dozens of games to play, and coacjes to help you learn them. So successful they are all they tables were full.

Longtime Dartmouth resto La Perla has closed its doors and Chef MacDougall has taken over the kitchen of the Colby Bistro
Noticed that Rich Forrest on Quinpool sign is down & the window now says Bi One, Korean & Japanese
Q BBQ on Argyle is shuttered and paper on the windows, it is to be replaced by sister resaurant Onyx who are moving in from their current digs on SGR
Local baby-centric store Fiddleheads is now open in the Larry Uteck retail area, to complement their Dartmouth store
Sleep Country opening in Highfield Park, from none in HRM to 4 just like that

and another successful City Harvest came and went yesterday the peninsula was laded with people walking around, in addition Halifax’s first Food Truck Rally was a huge success
